Riane Bhagwandas

Riane is a founding member of the Jersey City Soccer Association (JCSA) Girls Travel Program. Her team won their flight in their inaugural year of 2015. Her team also won the So-Five Championship. Her team has participated in NCA Cups and EDP. She participated in ODP in August 2022. She has attended Red-Bulls Regional Camps. Riane has also participated in indoor and outdoor Carli Lloyd Soccer Clinics in Moorestown, New Jersey. She always plays up in age-group/flight levels, at the request of her coaches, based on her skill level and athletic prowess. She has range, speed, power and agility with both feet. She is a natural right footed player, but her strength is in her left. She can play in a range of positions, including left-mid, center-back, forward and striker, as needed. She is also a phenomenal goalie. Riane represented her middle-school, PS 28 in Jersey City, in their soccer program and they won the Jersey City Middle School Soccer Championship in December 2022. She was a member of the Girls Vollebyall Team, at PS 28, and they won the volleyball championship in the Fall of 2022. Most recently, she was part of the Girls Basketball Team, as well, and they also won the Jersey City Middle School Basketball Champtionship on May 15, 2023, which was the first time in 20 years. Riane is a multi-talented athlete. Riane's soccer IQ is very high and her team and coaches rely on her heavily. She is well respected by her teammates for her leadership skills, unselfish play, and a knack for finishing.
